Want to make the birthday party special? Rent some fun movies and camp out in front of the TV. Or have each guest bring a favorite from home. Provide popcorn and other fun snacks.
Record instead of buying. This takes a little time and planning before the special day arrives, but it would make a nice gift. Use your DVR or Tivo to record his favorite TV show, whether it's a Saturday morning cartoon or a PBS or Disney series. He'll get hours of enjoyment from your investment of time and love.
