Trade Instead of Buying
Sometimes you just don't have the money to buy the birthday gift you want. But you don't want to disappoint that birthday child. Get creative and swap for a gift!
If you're a member of a DVD or book swapping site like SwapADVD.com or PaperbackSwap.com, you can get a nice children's book or movie in exchange for one of the credits you earn from trading other books and movies. Or you can even ask on your local Freecycle group if someone might be willing to part with a particular book or movie (or even toy) he would enjoy. You might be surprised at the response!
