|11 Ways to Protect Your Online Purchase|
Online shopping has exploded. According to Statista.com, $269 billion US dollars will be spent yearly by 2015. Another site, OrangeCollarMedia.com, states 74% of the population uses the internet, with 81% researching purchases and 66% purchasing online.
Savvy shoppers use online shopping for convenience, but wouldn’t it be great to save money, too? Everyone likes to get a bargain, especially now, when everything is going up in price. Newspaper and magazine coupons only get you so far and are mostly for grocery, household, and personal care items. Online coupons are a great way to get savings on everything else like clothing, shoes, beauty items, department stores, furniture, jewelry and more.
GoGoShopper.com is the perfect starting point for thousands of coupons and discounts. It was founded in 1999 by a college student in Colorado. It listed shopping deals and coupons from online retailers like Amazon and Overstock as well as department stores, including JCPenney and Macy’s. In 2005, the founder began working full time on the site. A year later, Macche Corporation was formed to manage the website. Today, GoGoShopper.com has four full-time employees and is located in Addison, Texas.
The website has impressive search features. You can look for a specific product or a store. GoGoShopper.com brings up the website with the discounted savings or provides a coupon code that you can copy and then paste into the discount box when you are checking out. They have a great feature that shows if the coupon worked or not with an interactive box you can click “Yes” or “No.” You can also add comments, which can be helpful if you are having trouble accessing a certain coupon.
Another way to browse coupons and discounts is the Hottest Merchants section, which lists over 20 top name merchants like JCPenney, Walmart, Target, Overstock, Blue Fly, Newegg, Dell, Old Navy, FatHead, JMS, Eddie Bauer, Online Shoes, Aeropostale, Urban Outfitters, etc. Stores are also listed alphabetically, so you can click on any letter and browse away.
If you are not sure what store might have the product you are looking for, you can search by category. There are dozens of main categories, like apparel, auto, pet supplies, books, baby and kid, beauty, electronics, travel, food, sports, gifts/flowers, home, etc. Each category expands to include many subcategories, making it easy to find the exact item you are looking for.
GoGoShopper.com also offers another great feature: blog posts. These are fun articles that list lots of deals and ideas on saving money with links to great bargains and discounts. Another nice feature is the editor’s picks on a large variety of products from skincare to modern contemporary furniture.
How does it work? I had success the first time out when I clicked on a coupon for an Xbox360 bundle, saving $70! The site brought me to Walmart.com, where it was easy to click on the deal to get the discount. Another plus is that I received free shipping, saving even more.
Budget-conscious consumers should certainly give GoGoShopper.com a try. This is a one-stop shop you can check before you finish your online order. The coupons and discounts you discover could save you up to 50% and give you access to free shipping and exclusive offers. Consumers can even subscribe to daily coupon updates. Why not make your dollar go further by checking out online coupons?
