Sometimes you really don't know how much you're eating. From veggies, to snacks, to even pieces of fruit, you may think it's just a small amount. But when take a closer look, your portion size actually might be bigger than you realize. Portion control and correct measurement is important, not just for those paying attention to how much food you're eating, but for recipes too! So when we were sent an EatSmart Kitchen Scale, we were excited to see if it was easy to measure food. Did it work? Here's our opinion:
A Little About the EatSmart Kitchen Scale
According to the EatSmart kitchen scale website , the Elite Precision scale is stainless steel, lightweight, and outfitted with accuracy technology. It comes with batteries, and it also has an automatic turn-off function, too! You can choose your preferred unit of measurement, and it even has a function that allows you to weigh an item, like a plate, then return the scale to zero. Once at zero, you can weigh the plate again with food so that you can subtract the weight of the plate.
What We Liked about the EatSmart Kitchen Scale
We really liked the sleek design of the scale, and it seemed very accurate too! We measured snacks, fruits, and even dry ingredients for recipes, all without any problems. It's easy to clean, and we love how clear and easy the display is to read! It is a great tool for kitchen measurement!
What to Think About Before Buying an EatSmart Kitchen Scale
The Eatsmart Kitchen scale retails for around $36.95, and it is available on the EatSmart website as well as Amazon. If you have limited countertop space, this could be a consideration, but it is also easily stored when not in use too.
