Could a Hacker Steal Your Money Using One of Your Mobile Apps?

Have you ever found yourself on vacation in a strange city and without any idea where to go for lunch? Or have you ever wanted to try that restaurant downtown, but don't want to spend the money if it isn't any good? Have you ever trusted an online review, only to find that it was completely wrong? If any of these scenarios sound familiar, enter Wisely! We downloaded this app for free on the app store, and it's a great resource for reviews, budgeting, and banking.

The Wisely Way

Unlike restaurant or establishment reviews where people are typing in the good, the bad and the ugly, Wisely is different. Once you download the app and sign up for Wisely, you have the option to link banking account information in the dashboard. You can also enter any loyalty card information or American Express card information in the wallet. Wisely uses all this information from its members, not only to help its members individually, but also to populate reviews based on how members are spending at different places.

Under the shop tab, a user can see how much people are spending at different establishments. They can also filter the results into different sectors like dining, entertainment, retail, groceries, health and wellness, and so on. If you're wondering where the best lunch spot in town is, filter your results on Wisely to see just which restaurants Wisely members are enjoying.

The Three Ways Wisely Can Help You

Wisely helps users in three great ways. First, when you are wondering where to eat or shop, users can simply refer to the "Shop" section of the app to see where user dollars are going. Based on how much money users are spending at different establishments, people can choose where they want to go.

Second, Wisely can help users during their shopping trips. Within the Wisely "Wallet" section, users can easily retrieve stored loyalty and bank card information for rewards.

Lastly, Wisely actually helps with financial management too by allowing users to link their bank account data. With this data, Wisely users can create a budget, as well as track and plot spending over time. Users can even plot their purchases on a map!

Why We Like Wisely

We really like the all-in-one type nature of the Wisely app. We love the fact that there is a place within the app to budget, use loyalty cards, and get recommendations for shopping! How convenient! Plus the mapping function for tracking spending is a great way to be sure that your spending is secure too. Right now, Wisely only accepts American Express cards for bank card information and bank linking, but according to Wisely, more banks will be available very soon.

If you are looking for a place for reviews that is based more on money spent, rather than personal experiences, Wisely is a great resource. Plus the added bonuses of being able to keep all of your loyalty cards and bank cards in one place is a great way to keep track of your spending and add to the Wise.ly member database. We recommend giving Wisely a try!
