  • Install a low flow shower head.

Don't feel that, as a renter, you have no choice but to pay high energy bills in the winter. Not all winterizing ideas require some type of permanent alteration to your home. A lot of the things you can do to reduce high energy bills involve developing frugal living habits. The few things that do involve some out-of-pocket expense can actually be money-saving investments over the winter months.
