I'm a self-confessed chocolate lover. It's one of those little things that makes a day a little bit better. I am also terrible about remembering to take a daily multivitamin. Plus, I'll admit I haven't found a multivitamin I really like. So, when we were asked to give our thoughts on the Chocolate A Day™ multivitamins, I had to admit the chocoholic in me wanted to check it out. And to be honest, I really didn't know what to expect! So what did we think? In one word, yum!
About Chocolate A Day™
Chocolate A Day™ is made up of delicious Belgian chocolate, and it contains 14 vitamins. It actually contains 100% of the RDA of 10 of these vitamins! It is 55% cacao, and it has 47 calories and less than one net carb per square. Plus, it is non-GMO, and it contains no preservatives, either!
Now when we here at TDS received the box, all of us were curious. They looked like small pieces of chocolate, but vitamins? Really? We all tried them, and I can honestly say that we all loved the way they tasted. They taste just like a piece of yummy chocolate with no strange aftertaste and no odd vitamin taste. They taste like chocolate (and good chocolate too!).
For me, these are a great addition to my daily diet. And because I don't necessarily like taking multivitamins (and I can't remember to take them either), these are a great fit. I actually look forward to eating them because they are so tasty. In fact, they are so good that it might be tempting to eat more than you should. Just remember that these are chocolate, but they are also vitamins. So be sure to follow the directions for use.
I compared some of the typical prices for multivitamins on Amazon, and prices range from $6 through about $40, depending on the brand and type of vitamin. On Amazon, there is also a bottle of chocolate type vitamin chews that is currently running about $7.50 for 50 chews, but they look to be different in consistency to Chocolate A Day™. One box of Chocolate A Day™ has about 25 pieces per box, according to the nutritional label, and a box runs $24.95. However you can arrange a monthly subscription through the Color Earth website, and the price drops to $19.99 per month. And Color Earth is sponsoring an awesome giveaway too! They are giving 20 winners a whole year's supply of Chocolate A Day™. Totally yummy! Check out the details below, or visit the giveaway page for your chance to win. Good luck!
