Frugal Living at The Dollar Stretcher

Advice From Mom
Mom Goes Surfing

This week I took some time out and explored the internet for "freebies." I found some real fascinating web pages!

The most interesting site was one where an antique barn is offered for free if you will haul the whole thing away. The site gives pictures of the barn (some of the beams are made of a whole tree!) and some of the "extras" that go with it. Check it out at http://www.ultranet.com/~adjm/barn/barn.html

Better Homes & Gardens has a whole encyclopedia on line to help with those fix-up projects you have to do this spring. They have pictures to guide you and very thorough step by step explanations on plumbing, deck building, general upkeep, etc.

Have fun finding those freebies! -Rae

Rae is the mother of nine (and grandmother of two) in central Nebraska. She says her house runs smoothly due to "organized chaos, and lots of lists!
