Many people will be sending packages to others over the 1999 holiday season. Since many package delivery companies have sprung up, you may be interested to know that you can comparison shop based on cost to ship.

I've compiled the following links to assist you in your efforts to find the lowest cost method of shipping your holiday packages. (Note: sites in each section are arranged in alphabetical order, not in order of preference. I do not necessarily endorse any of these sites, products or services.)

Note: the cost of shipping increases if someone else wraps or packs your package(s) for you. The cost of the packing service may depend on the type, size and/or weight of the item you want to ship. To save money, consider packing the item yourself, bearing in mind that certain items cannot be sent by certain couriers. When in doubt about what can and cannot be sent, ask the courier by which you intend to send it.
